Cast Polyurethanes
Cast Polyurethanes are cost effective and dependable elastomers that combine the performance advantages of engineering plastics, metals and ceramics along with the resiliency and flexibility of rubber. These are internationally popular for their high load bearing capacity, high impact strength, high abrasion resistance, high resilience and excellent resistance to oil and grease.
The applications of polyurethanes include where the actions of sliding, bearing, stripping, forming, damping, cushioning, resting or rolling are involved.
For optimum performance, better results and longer life, selection of appropriate grades is important. These can be formulated with permutation & combination of selective chemicals & additives.
Cast Polyurethanes have unlimited running applications & a huge replacement market is waiting to turn on.
Applications:
Pads: Abrasion Resistant Linings, Gear Seals, Jigs & Fixtures, Mallets, Punch-strippers, Screens, Spacers, Rollers & Sleeves, Suspension Bushes, Scrapper Blades, Wheels, Wear Parts etc.

 Cast Polyurethane Rods:
10mm to 200mm diameter in standard 300mm & bigger lengths.

  Cast Polyurethane Hollow Rods:
ODXID: 20x08 to 200x180 (in mm) in standard 300mm lengths.

  Cast Polyurethane Sheets:
1mm to 100mm in widths of 300mm, 500mm, 600mm & 1000mm upto1000mm lengths.

Other non standard sizes upon request.

Molded Components: Semi-finished & finished molded parts are produced against approved part samples and drawings subject to MOQ.

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU)

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU)

Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU) results from copolymerization of two or more monomers. One monomer is used to provide the hard, crystalline features, whereas the other monomer produces the soft, amorphous features. Combined these form a thermoplastic material that exhibits properties similar to the hard, vulcanized elastomers.

Because of its toughness and versatility, as well as a generally higher price tag than other TPEs, urethane is typically used for parts requiring a high level of performance. These applications frequently demand a flexible material with a high degree of flex resistance, wearability, and durability. Particularly at lower temperatures, other materials do not provide this combination of properties.

Properties:

High flexibility/ elasticity over a broad temperature range down to -50°C
High resistant to tearing, tear initiation and tear propagation with high ultimate elongation
High abrasion resistant
Extremely punctureproof and thermoformable
Microbe & hydrolysis resistant
High resistance to fuel, oil, grease and solvents
Good chemical & mechanical resistance
Good resistance to liquids but still high water permeability

Applications: Automotive industry, building industry, medical industry, industrial equipments, sports & leisure industry, textile & garments industry, other general industry
